“We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard,
so that you also may have fellowship with us.
And our fellowship is with the Father
and with His Son, ” (1 John 1: 3).
Who We Are
The Bridge Fellowship is a Protestant, Gospel-centered, Reformed church plant in Tokyo. We are a diverse church family reflecting a global Gospel within a monoculture.
Our Vision
We long to see people from every nation centered on the Gospel of grace—integrating faith, work, and art—to show mercy and justice for the good of Tokyo, Japan, and the world to God's glory (Revelation 7:9–10; Jeremiah 29:7; Micah 6:8).
Our Story
What started in 2017 as home Bible studies & Bridge Live events for musicians and professionals has grown into The Bridge Fellowship. Today, we are a diverse community for English-speaking expats and Japanese locals across Tokyo, using English as a bridge to connect people to each other and the Gospel.
Our Affiliations
We are affiliated with City to City Asia Pacific, a partner of Resound Asia Pacific, and a member church of Acts 29 Asia Pacific—a global movement of church-planting churches.

OUR CORE VALUES
BEHOLD
Slowing Down over Rushing |
We slow down to see the beauty and glory of Jesus in a distracted world through Scripture meditation, prayer and worship.
(Psalm 1:1–3; Psalm 27:4; John 4: 23-24; Romans 12: 1-2; 2 Corinthians 3:18).
BELONg
Community over Isolation |
We cultivate a church family where people belong before they behave, find a new identity in Jesus, and are known and loved through table fellowship.
(John 13:34–35; Acts 2: 42; Romans 12:4–5; Romans 15: 7; Ephesians 2:19).
BECOME
Holy Rest over Endless Striving |
We embrace Gospel rest in an overworked culture, relying on the Spirit to transform us, becoming who we already are through spiritual disciplines.
(Exodus 20:8–10; Matthew 11:28–30; Romans 8: 29; Galatians 5:22–25, Hebrews 4: 4—11;).
BLESS
Generous Service over Self-Interest |
We pray for our cities and share the good news, serving our neighbors like Jesus through hospitality in our workplaces and beyond.
(Jeremiah 29:7; Matthew 5:14–16; ; Matthew 28: 19-20; Acts 2: 46; 1 Peter 4:10–11).
